I don't think this should be taken as a bad mark on IBMWR but for the seller.

As the title, I'm on the hunt for a yellow glass headlight lense (preferably Bosch) for my R75/5 cafe build.

Reasonable price paid or trade for??

    Anyone have one kickin' around?

    Thanks for looking...

As the title says, I'm looking for the screw that holds the large plug onto the back of the instrument cluster for a 1982 R100.

If you have a spare, old one lying around, or know a good match I am interested.

A long time ago, I worked at a place in Baltimore that imported BMW car parts, mostly for old 2002s and coupes. I found on the microfiche that in France, they used a yellow bulb in their headlight, which happened to be the same style as is in a /5, so I ordered one. It was cool looking, and I really liked the light it made. Talking about it makes me want another one. The company that I worked for was called Maximillian Importing Co. I'm sure they can get it still.

Thanks for the info....would probably work great...but I think Id still prefer the yellow lens...for the overall look.

Are you going to France? You could probably find one there.
My recollection is that France is no longer requiring yellow lenses on cars or bikes. I was there in November, and the bikes I saw had white lenses.

    EDIT: Exhausts are spoken for.

Well used, but useable. Has some rust and pits, but no dents. I'll ship it CONUS however you want, if you pay for actual shipping. Pipes break down into 3 pieces.US Postal will probably be cheapest. It came off my 75/7, since I went back to stock. (I could use two pipe hangers from the foot pegs for stock pipes, if someone doesn't need theirs.)

I have a '77 R75/7 that has had stock dual exhausts put back on. It's complete except for the left and right hangers for the exhaust pipes (not mufflers) that attach at the foot rests.

I know I can get new ones from MAX, but I'd like to find some used ones to match the rest of the system, and save me some expense.

    Thanks.

You ought to get the ones that the new owner of your two into one won't need any more, just saying.

Good thought. I imagine he would have offered if he had some to trade. Maybe he is doing a scratch build with no parts to swap. No biggie.... I like to help out when I can.

I'm sending the two I have. Both will work and the one should look good. Plus I like to send Baldy a little something too.
