If in fact they did have a fight, the accident might well have changed their feelings. She broke out the rear window with a golf club to get him out and was tending to him when the services arrived.

I'm glad that when I have an emotional faux pas it doesn't make national news.

I wish Tiger no harm and not to be snarky, but IIRC, he's paid BIG $$$ to flog Buick, right? WTF is he doing in an Escalade? That's like Michael Schumacher driving a Porsche....

Yeah, except he's not. He likes to play early, early in the day. His routine, even when not in a tournament, starts early.

scfrank, I agree. I was thinking... if you or I were to storm out and go to a motel for the night, no-one would notice. With him, there's a chance of a call to the National Enquirer.

No question, this guy is one of the best ever, but it kills me that our culture gloats over athletes and Hollywood types. Were they giving us station break updates on national TV when Stephen Hawking nearly died last year? Not hardly. Fer' Christ sake, this guy makes more money than God. If he never played another game of golf, he'd be hard pressed to spend all of his money, even burning it to heat his house. Glad he apparently isn't hurt. It's just the whole media frenzy-hero worship thing that gets me. :huh
