    Now THAT is SERIOUS!

    on all fronts...

We got a hint from Pyndon's equipment selection that this Dakar shot wasn't going to be a compromise. Competitive effort all the way. We got further confirmation with the latest practice race.

It was very methodical from every angle. This attempt is all-in.

I don't know much about these things, but this effort looks promising. I say Bravo!

I am tempted - but suspect I might bankrupt Lyndon if I go overboard on the free beer !!

In my experience, Pyndon doesn't know how to be anything but methodical. And all-in is the only way to go to Dakar.

Good to have seen lyndon using his bike at the ryedale rally, results out soon from this mudfest at the weekend. The ktm was not keen on the sheer volume of mud and water

Yeah, and the organisers placing me in 61st position on the road didn't exactly help my times as I spent most of the weekend working my way around slower riders. My apologies now for those that I roosted, soaked in water or covered in mud when I passed but a special test is a special test! I got called some names!

Also, what on earth were the marshals doing? I was almost ready to just barrel straight through the chicane if they were in my way, unbelievable! Fun fun. It was super slick, congrats to everyone that finished the full event, it was a tough one for sure. It looks slow on the video but for anyone who was not there, believe me, it was super slippery.

Good to chat at the ryedale Michael. Don't think Lyndon had too much trouble with the mud but he did learn a bit about attacking deep water crossings ! All part of the learning curve for the Dakar !

    Still looks awesome!

Thanks to Owen from Bikers Jersey for making the weekend possible on the Rally bike due to tight timescales after Sardinia.

A few week ago you you will have seen that I took a weekend out to go and do some filming in an attempt to put something cool together (link). After hours of filming there was the laborious task of cutting and editing everything in order to hit the mark. One can never underestimate the time and effort required to do this and I have to give a huge thanks to Mikey Lonsdale from www.BlueOysterCo.co.uk. Thanks also to the guys at www.adventure-spec.com who made it all possible.

I think the video sums it up, enjoy……

The promo film is awesome Lyndon - top marks to all involved!

Some of those sections at the Ryedale look like they would be hard work on any bike?! - all that time on the heffer 950 paying dividends there I think!

    Go Pyn!

I was too busy thinking "how is he doing that without having a massive accident?" as you came through something I was paddling through at walking pace at about 30mph!

I did think of asking you to give me a tow down to the special finish ;)
