Wait! Come back! We haven't told you about randonneuring yet! It's like the Iron Butt Association of bicycling!
Oh, we're better than that. We measure everything in kilometers. They're the narcissistic douchebag (and/or Canadian) measurement of distance!
I could tell from the French name that I wanted nothing to do with it. I have the same retching reaction to 'peloton'.

That RB-t happens to be a very nice frame. More modern than the touring bike of that era, Trek 720 or Miyata 1000 or Specialized Expedition. A little more sporty.... fuckers.
I'd like it, if Jan didn't always compare everything he tests to his 650b Rene Herse, 42mm Grand Bois tires, and whatever else he has. There's no such thing as an objective test, in that magazine, as he'll always find some reason that "X" isn't as good as what he uses. Oh yeah, he speaks in kilometers.
I leave the house, it's mid-50's & clear. Pedal down to get me a little religion, come out, it's low 40's & raining. Jousting with Baltimore transit buses sucks in the first place, doing it in the rain sucks even more. I have got to get better lights.
Thanks for that. I need to refill a growler tomorrow at Harriet, I'll stop in. Also, this Jamis Aurora looks about perfect, if it was half the price. http://thehubbikecoop.org/products-page/multi-use-700c-drop-bar-bikes/jamis-aurora/
