Wet clutch, Lower gear ratio. Fix everything that is covering the gas tank. I'd like to be able to sit more forward. It would make off road riding easier.

this is a great bike. But it can be improved.

Increase the plain-jane GS fuel capacity to 6 (or 6.2) gal.

Either a wet clutch like Hair says or a ceramic one that isn't going to blow. I am good with clutches and don't burn them up, but a good clutch is a good clutch. Lower first gear, just a smidge. I am ok with the rest of them (there are three total, right?) :evil

Electric cruise is nice but pah on the price. Just make a mechanical one (they are $100 and don't break).

Independent turney-offable ABS would be nice; that way, unlike the present linked braking system, you might have a better chance on ice or pavement sand.

I have had linked brakes on a Honda CBR1000F and also rode a linked Guzzi for a little bit, but opted not to have same on my present stripped version GS. It's nice to finger brake the front going into corners but hey, I really don' miss them.:lol3

The windshield could be a little better in making an airstream envelope for yer knoggin.

Oh--Oh yeah, it needs a mini expresso machine that you can clamp to the exhaust system for a heat source... and a nice gel and leather seatpad, and gel handgrips, and..... a DVD player and iPod rack! A color printer shelf! oh, yeah, pink, purple, or black fuzzy fur for the handlebars! And a spot for the dashboard statue of your favorite Jesus/saint! :norton

Give me an Ohlins upgrade option just like the R1200S.:deal

Set of extra wheels at time of purchase at a "reasonable" cost. BMW did it for the HP2 supermoto, no reason they can't put a package together for the regular GS.

    A few more ponies wouldn't hurt either.

Oops, forgot to mention. Put water cooling on it and I'm out. No thanks.

    Well...

    1- Cruise Control,
2- Bigger Standard Tank, (much bigger than 19 liters)
    3- Better windshield,
    4- Wet Clutch,
    5- Ohlins option
6- 18" rear wheel, 21" Front, at least as an available option ... Otherwise stop pretenting being a dual sport ...
7- No more Telelever and no more paralever. Good for paved road, but an handicap for gravel.

    That's it ...

You guys crack me up - folks scream - get rid of the hi-tech stuff but give us a flat panel display GPS and cruise control ???

PS. The 07's ABS can be switched on the fly without the key drill.

    Really I love this bike!
    BUT
    I'm ditching the seat
and I wish I could toggle through the trip meters with the info button

I'd say these are both very minor gripes and one is fixable with $$$

    So I'm happy:clap
Here's to BMW and a pretty well sorted out bike :freaky

So you don't even need to worry about riding anymore and much less about saddlebags, sleeping tent or "Company"

I'm not sure about Heated, on the other hand I'm sure the empty seats will be "WeT" with such company..:yikes
