Thanks for the kudos, guys! :freaky

Thanks to all the workers and volunteers! Without them, this kind of event couldn't happen. :deal

    Here's some pics:

I was a bit concerned about the monkey bars, because I have a sprained muscle in my left arm, but it wasn't bad because you're pretty much dead-hanging, and it didn't hurt.

I was pretty proud of myself until I saw this guy. 65 years young!!

The Everest wall. I saw a guy twist his ankle and get medical attention there.

Just bought a DR650 to keep my DR200 company and looking for someone from Pinellas to ride with. Weather this weekend should be pretty nice to take a ride. I went to Croom in Brooksville last weekend with my son and had fun but the sand was kinda slippery with enduro tires. He was on a 600 Can am ATV and blew through it. I would like to explore the back roads around brooksville area to see what it there. Anyone looking for a riding partner give me a yell. I have been riding Florida for almost 40 years so I think I can keep up. LOL.

Ok, moved to Largo just a couple of weeks ago and looking for some nice places to ride. Not too difficult since I ain't no spring chicken.
BTW, you see the blue second generation KLR with Missouri plates running around Largo or Clearwater before sure to wave.

    Welcome, what part of MO?

I'm down in Sarasota but do a lot of riding in Citrus and Hernando counties, some decent roads (for Florida) and plenty of sand/dirt in the Withlacoochee Forests, both the Croom tract and the Citrus tract.

Had a great time dual sport riding with a group in Pasco last Sunday. There is a thread on here with a link to the Craigslist ad that a fellow named Jim started. There was 8 of us, mixed age group. Everyone was skilled spirited riders.

More specifically the Arnold/Sappington/Columbia, Il. area.
When work lightens up I will be trying to work my way into some rides with whoever I can.

Hey guys, I am coming down that way Sunday collecting some bonii for the BMR rally and I was wondering if I can ride the powerline from Starkey Blvd and 54 north till 52 or further. Google makes it look like an easy straight shot with no redlights. Is it fenced off or restricted?

Hey all, FWIW the Red Bull Wake Open is today. I'm told it's a hassle getting to it by powerboat so I think I'm going to drop a paddle board in the water at Rick's and paddle down to check it out. Anyone else headed out to watch?

Moved here 2 weeks ago from Ohio. my stay is only for 8 months but I'd like to do some day rides around Florida, or just meet up and BS with some local riders. I just took a two day trip to Key West and back, and I did a crappy RR, but it was fun.
