Thank you too, I' am wondering about the Vasquez Bul showed there the bike doesn't look like one of these very well and with care to the detail rebuild Sherpas I have seen from Vasquez or Puma so far. It looks more like a replica, (not even very well). Your thoughts? I haven't been there and it is difficult to see all the commen things the Spaniards usually replace or modify.

I am told that it is an authentic Vazquez... but as it was the first one i had seen in the flesh i can only go on what others tell me.
I am sure the photos of a bike that has just come from the Puma or Vazquez workshops would look better... this one has been ridden, so maybe just showing signs of use.

Here's me at The Farm a couple years ago. I guess I won't be riding there again...

    Maybe.

I still think K Falls is the one of the best venues ever for trials. The scenery is unreal. While the granite at Donner Pass is a blast you can't beat the variety of terrane at K Falls.

    Hi Swooshdave,
Most of my friends (and I) are upset about the loss of Chehalis. What a complete and utter downer. I have no silver lining, no words of wisdom other then to say lets ride trials when and were we can. PST has a trial on Whidbey Island March 3rd. I rode the Plastered Purple Penguin trial and was welcomed with open arms by the membership.

Considering it was the first place you ever road trials I can understand. But for once I don't think it was AHMRA's fault.

I wonder how a stand alone trials at the Purple Penguin venue would do. I personally thought it was as good or better than Chehalis. I would personally love to put on a vintage trials there.

Well no Dave I have ridden trials since 1972 or so…..off and on of course. No it was not AHRMA's fault at all. This was a screw up of the landlowner. They simply didn’t have the know how to pull it off. They wrecked the event then and for ever. No one knew who won any of the MX races. Confusing and very sad for everyone. :cry

I think the venue was neat-o at the Purple Penguin and I plan on supporting PST events. We (vintage riders) were welcomed with open arms. I would enjoy an AHRMA event at the Purple Penguin site. I wonder how amenable the owner would be…
