    Hi guys,

I am planning on purchasing 990 R 2010. I have been reading about all the issues with stock cans - temperature weight vs performance you can get with aftermarket exhaust. At the beginning I was thinking about Akrapovic cans but they are verry common and totally pricy. I have look thru all the options on the market and I realli like Mivv round exhausts dedicated to LC8. They are wide yet smaller than rest of the exhausts and have aggresive design.

Did anyone dynoed Mivv carbon round exhausts?

What would be the performance in comparsion to akrapovic?

I like Mivv exhausts but dunno whether it's a good solution in terms of power/torque and if it would be OK with Akrapovic mapping.

Yeah I see there is plenty of Mivv users with 990 Adv

Well I have finished the instalation :1drink .. see for your self I think thy are beautifull. The sound is amazing. If i were the mivv director of marketing i would use 990 Adv R as an example for their pipes (btw he should jump up his own ass and die sadly - see the oryginal product page - http://www.mivv.it/en/prodotti_apri.asp?cl=1&cs=712)..

    see the results for yourself

    The sound is amazing!!

Look great! Carbon fiber finish is a perfect match for the 990R.
I bet they are not quiet ... :D

Well, they are really light. I didn't have a chance to comprare with Akraps but I think they are slightly lighter.

When it comes to the mapping, the bike is quite fresh with less than 1km on it so first I have to break-in the engine and after first 1000km make a service. When in the service I am having akras map uloaded. Will see how it runs and then I'll decide what to choose...

Apologies for resurrecting an old thread.........but anyone have any additional info on these cans? Availability, maps and importantly, how they fit onto the stock pipe work....?
