If the warm up ride is the similar to this year's Thursday afternoon run, I'm in and I suggest it to any newbie. Great terrain and some awesome stops along the way. Much more scenery than I expected from a warm-up.

And the Saturday Short ride would fit Titus in very well...

Going to throw this out there, HOPEFULLY someone can help out. Would anybody be willing to transport a bike & gear bag for me to the DV noobs ride? I live in Santa Clarita & im located less than a mile off the sand canyon exit, pretty much hassle free. I can either help out with gas or you could even use my room for a NICE HOT shower after a loooong days ride:D Reason for this, i'd like to be able to ride my SE there & have a small bike option for Friday & Saturday's ride. Thanks

EDIT: DOH! I never mentioned BEER, MMMmmm or the DJ 1942:D

    RIDE ON!

Yeah, that's the rub. Not much range with GMRS/FRS, crazy they advertise 22 miles on the bubble packs. I figured they would be handy around camp, or maybe during the rides if others had them. Better range than my Sena anyway.

I have a portable CB radio too, but seems like few people use that band anymore. Except the drunks and crazies here in the city at least. Shame, as that longer carrier wave wraps around or goes over natural obstacles much better than the GMRS radios.

    Hi All,

    Looking forward to DV again!

I just had a chance to do the Jimmy Lewis class in Pahrump last weekend and can't say enough good things about it! If you have the chance to get it in before DV I highly recommend doing so. Techniques for remaining relaxed and active on the bike as well as managing energy through turns, slides and loose conditions go a long way to boosting confidence and enjoyment. Two thumbs WAY up!

I of course pimped the DV Rally to Jimmy while there but his Spring schedule is still in flux. Hopefully he can make it. His demo there this year was the reason I signed up for the class.

    Hi Ersin

#225 has signed up for adv as 2HP2. So change the Neuper to this handle "good buddy"

I took off my gas cap to see if repair possible. It's a tough one. Check welding first.

    Done.

I still didnt have time to take it apart. I talked to Tim (tbarstow) and he said he can fix it. I'll take it out and check it first. Then send it over to him. Hopefully I can save a buck or 300. :)
