Hi I'm starting a new adventure from Santiago to Puerto Natales in Nov 24 , no much plans other than getting to Puerto Natales around Dec 11th, so any advice will be appreciated.. I'm riding alone and glad to meet other adventurers in the route.... regards CZ
We'll be a month behind you. I've ridden through part of the route before, espactacular ! Also spent time down there Kayaking the rivers, mid '80's Where are you planning on crossing into Argentina. I'm thinking Chile Chico but the farther South the better. Max
I would take the Lago Pirihueico ferry (you need to check it's working) and go from San Martin de los Andes south on route 40 to Calafate, then crossing back to Chile at Cancha Carrera to Torres del Paine and Puerto Natales. A
