Here's an odd one. My dad bought this thing in '75. It's a '74 Aurenthetic. A company in Cali converted these gas powered minibikes to run off of two deep cycle 12V batteries. Throttle consists of a two way switch which partially turned, engages one battery fully, and turning the rest of the way engages the other one. Full 24V going to a 1HP motor, basically a starter motor.

I rebuilt it a few years ago just for fun and I couldn't believe how fast this thing was. Well, you know. Relatively speaking. But seriously, flat out I bet it would hit 35. Nephews got a big kick out of it. :ricky

Hey all, I know it's short notice but I'll be in Cville at Albemarle HS(2775 Hydralic Rd.) from 8:30 to 11:30 tomorrow morning. Anyone want to grab lunch somewhere between Cville North to Madison after 12PM? I'll be in my truck though. Too damn cold in the AM!

Post up! I'll check in the AM and after class. Or call me at 540-three zero five-4589.

    PS: Cool bike Randy!

We are set up to do the first Wednesday of each month which puts it on the 6th again. I think the exact start time should depend on what we watch, if it is going to be Full length film we should start earlier but if it is something that is only an hour then we can start a bit later.

So next movie night is: March 6 time: tbd

Does anyone have a movie topic they are particularly excited about doing right away. I was thinking we could do Isle of Man in may and Baja in November to be timed close to the races. Is there any race coming up in march?

We could also do a feature film like on any Sunday or worlds fastest Indian, if folks are into that I can talk to Anna and Matteus about possibly setting furniture up in a way more comfortable for focusing on a movie.

    Thoughts? :ear

It's been years since I've seen anything on the Isle of Mann TT. I also have not seen anything on the Romaniacs, Hell's Gate or The Roof of Africa. Not sure if there's a DVD of The Silk Road Rally
    Just my $.02 :lol3

    Hey all,

Looking for something to do tomorrow night?

    Like to drink original beer?

    Like music?

Then come out to the Beer Hound Brewery (South of Ruckersville Sheetz in the same shopping center as Fabio's Pizza and Rangeland).

Why? Because my band Ice House Road will be playing live from 8-11. (I'll be the Fat and Bald guy on drums)

    $5 cover.

    Hope to see you there!
