Sounds like you've got a place for the girl who can't pay her rent.

We had a 16' Scamp for several years. Bought it for $2000, camped in it for 4 years and sold it on Ebay for $5400. I loved that camper but with 2 kids it was getting kind of cramped. Moved up to a 21' Sunline and then last year sold it and bought an Airstream motor home. Don't really care for it and will probably sell the Airstream this year and look for a work and play type trailer to get the best of all worlds.

    I'm in the middle of building a 5' x 10' teardrop for a friend.
I'll try and post some pictures.

My girlffriend and I are buying a house. After we have a place to store a small trailer, we'll be building one for us as well.

Why a teardrop? We have tents and I have a big cargo trailer that we can sleep in. However, for a quick weekend getaway a small trailer that we can drag behind her 4 banger Toyota pickup will be perfect.

Imagine it's a wood tent with a kitchen in the back.

has anyone figured a way like above to take a bike with a light trailer? I wonder what the weight capacity is of something like that, and would it hit with a sharp turn?

Bought a used 10' Jayco last year and have loved it. A great step up from tenting (which I also loved...but now with kids, the trailer is so much easier). Setup and takedown isn't a huge hassle, but I can see being able to stop and have lunch/access to the trailer as a big improvement.

Me and the kids love it, the wife...she tolerates it.:deal

"Operation"? Is that what posting here is called...

This Operation has potentially cost me what I would assume to be quite a bit of money in the form of a T@b trailer. What a cool little unit. :tb

I've been thinking something small with shower and potty facility would be great for taking to the track. Something that sleeps 2 comfortably. Not sure how long I'm keeping my truck so a way to mount a second hitch for a light bike trailer (It's legal to tandem as long as you're under a certain length here).

Anyone know of something that fits the bill?

I use a 12' Utility trailer now for a toy-hauler but have my heart set one one of these.

A little pricey though, $10 to $14K depending on options.
