On more then one occasion I have argued the point that an "L" is just too much of a heavy weight to even consider for the type of riding I have been doing for over 30 years in the forests of East Texas. But after watching this clip I guess I'm gonna have to amend my thought process and venture back to the woods and give it a try.

Great video, and good job on the editing. The pig sure looks heavy, and it made me tired just watching.

That is quite the tent city, and I even saw a wall tent with a stove pipe. Surely there was some beer drunk that weekend! Thanks for sharing.:clap

I think you're check might get lost in the mail...

    Temp: 70-ish degrees
Tires: Dual sport tires made by Kenda at 14 lbs
gears: usually first or second and rarely third (a couple extra teeth on rear sprocket)
oil temp: no clue :cry running mobil devac 15w40

About 35 miles each lap. I was bushed after one lap and threw in the towel.

I've never rode the BRP on stuff like this. It was exhausting.
Cold beer didn't stick around long. They even had a beer garden with live music!

Whoops a re fun on an XRL aren't they?:eek1 I guy I ride with bombs through whoops on his XRL. Not me! :lol3
Getting 300+ pounds of bike swapping back and forth doesn't sound like much fun.... or chickening out halfway through, cutting the throttle, hammering the face of a whoop and having the bike pile drive you on the way down.:huh

Good video! I enjoyed it! Makes me wanna go do some trail time this weekend!

Anyone have any experience with this or something like it?

As we all know, Mr. Honda doesn't sell the OEM baffle without the OEM muffler wrapped around it...

Will it fit is the question- I never measured the opening.

If you have a stock muffler with no baffle, you can get a nice flow and a quiet sound by sticking a washer over the end. getting it to stay in place is the hard part.

This thread is just too massive to search, but I was wondering what's involved and the cost of converting to a 17" motard setup?

Thanks for your positive comments. The ride was fun but putting that video together was a lot of work.

That's funny. For me, the ride would be work and compiling the video easy. :evil

I ride terrain like that anyway, but not usually for 100mi at a stretch...

400R or 650R rear fender? Thought about trying the 650R fender myself.

Well, I asked this before but never got a reply from anyone so I'll ask again...

Anyone have spare, white side covers in good shape? Mine are pretty rough.

I have posted in the flea market as well. I am looking for a Trail Tech, FAT handlebar mount, just the arm part. Any body got one to give up? Thanks

Damn that new track is badass! Too bad I can't put pics here. I got to see Marc Marquez fall on the first lap, then came back and rode like he was pissed! He was dragging elbow all day. Amazing that the 250s were louder than my 996. Anyway, back to XR talk. So, have you seen the BNG for 2014?
