    Cute.

That river is stocked the week we are all there. If you know anything about trout you'd know that the survival rate for hatchery fish is a good deal lower than wild fish. You would also have to admit that our group is a good deal larger than any other group to use that facility. Having 90 people shower in the forest is not an issue. Dumping the soap (will you guarantee that they all use bio degradable soap?) and the grunge from 90 people in that river will pollute it enough to degrade the fishery. And while some people think that biodegradable soap won't hurt the fish it will damn well destroy the nymphs and larva they feed on.

Why does asking you to wash your dirty ass 50 feet from the damn water give you an excuse to turn it into a circus?

Since it means so much to you, go wash in the river. If the Ranger comes by he'll bust you. Last I heard, it's a $500 fine - and he can confiscate your bike.

We do not want to harm the trout, at least up to the moment we eat em

There should be enough liquid sunshine and fire smoke to keep everyone smelling fresh. 50 degree water? No thanks.

Water in the river will probably be closer to 40 or even 30 then 50. We'll be lucky to get 50s for an air temp at LF in the middle of April.

You can heat water with a "Sun Shower". I had a 5 gallon size that would heat water to better than 100 degrees on a sunny day. They are still available, just not worth hauling on a bike (although they can also be used to carry potable water back to camp).

Exactly where is this? Is it in Clay county? I thought I saw a Laurel Fork road there, not too far outside of Roane County. I'm in Spencer, so it would be fairly convenient. Any challenging riding there? I've got both an XR250 and an XR400. The 250 is plated, and the 400 will be by spring. :)
