Shown high front, high rear, same as I was riding with the stock foam. The new foam has added what feels to be approximately a half inch in height. The rear rack I built doesn't allow me to put the seat in the low position, after I modify it I'll experiment with seat positions, but I do like it as is.

    Cheers! :thumbup

Tired of my fingers getting cold in cold weather. My rubber extenders/quasi-hippo hands should help. Jus used some old rubber and a trip to ace hardware for Allen head screws, washers and nuts. [IMG]

great idea! Are your upper guards the extended BMW ones?

I have a set of elephant ears from Cee Bailey but they vibrate so much in the wind they are too annoying to use on the road. I'm probably not installing them correctly, but they did not come with directions and it is not intuitive from the photos how they installed them. I have yet to MacGyver a solution for the vibration...

Yes, the top guards are the BMW extenders. They work great.

Hmm, I was born in Hemet in 1947, haven't lived there since 1970. From what I hear the place has turned into a dump...true? I always enjoyed it.

Vinyl wrapped a scratched and scruffy top box. Going to re do it bit more patience and proper clean next time to avoid some of the bubbles. But still not bad and much better than it was..

The Wife and I lived there in the early-mid '80's and it was great. Still a small town with awesome weather but could go to the San Jacinto mountains within 30 minuets and ski...............I loved it being near "the middle of nowhere'. I here now it is grown damn near to Riverside!

    Patched my Nelson-Rigg cover.

Angled down my PIAA 004x lights by about 2 degrees.

Weighed my top & side cases in preparation for purchasing new shocks.

I've lived in Hemet most of my life and it really has turned into mostly a dump. But being so close to the San Jac mountains is nice!

Failed at installing a Migsel lightbar today.

I really like the lines of the Migsel and the way it tucks the lights up tight to the beak, so bit the bullet and ordered one from Belgium a couple of months ago. They were out of stock on the mounting brackets so I was on backorder for a month. They finally shipped and 18 days later it arrived.

So today I came home from work early, parked in the snowy driveway and heaved six buckets of warm water on the bike to rinse off the roadsalt, then pulled into the shop and removed the tank and beak. Got the left side bracket installed, then reached for the other one...which was also a left side bracket!

Crap! Migsel isn't the most communicative vendor, so my email will probably be answered next week, another backorder, another lengthy transit delay. Crap!
