    I also had a call from another friend today, telling me my remote fuel tank was ready, so I thought I should show you what my mate Roger can do with a welding torch... :clap

    Thanks for the extra pics. Last year I went down to our local British bike show in Northern KY. and there was an 7r there. Sadly I had left my camera at home.

    I seem to remember there was one when I went through the door at the Barber Museum? but it is nice to get so close to one, and really have a look up close, now I wonder if I can blag a ride:evil

    Does it still sound like a 7R with that ugly can ? Best sound in the paddock is a 7R with mega warming up.

    Best paddock sound was when John Surtees was warming up his MV. at Mid-Ohio years ago as Grand Marshal. I was about 10' from him. One of the highlights of my life. Still makes the hair on my neck stand up when I think about that time.

    Yea, I know the sound, I was in the basement ar Barbers when he took the MV out during lunch break, brought it in then took a few laps in a Ferrari. Joyous sound--both.

    I was going to ask about the muffler as well. Everything else looks period correct , But why the late model can ?

    Its still a great looking bike.
