yeah-if i couldn't afford this, a similar car would be 57 plymouth. only the plymouth would be 8/7ths scale to the Aston.
I put a bunch of miles on my Magnum pulling a couple bikes around. I really liked that car. Mine had the 5.7 and AWD. Looks like yours has the AWD rims... Is it? I had 400k on it when I parked it. I never thought that the build quality was poor. I'd recommend getting overload shocks for the back if you're hauling/towing frequently. The IRS with that combination can eat up expensive tires rather quickly when the camber is out a bit. The 4cyl ranger I have now gets better mileage so I've been burning the wheels off of it.
No no, it was his add on. This is the same guy who has a blower on a late model marauder. Got to drive that once, the blower whine with wide leather seats just seemed so wrong it turned into a right.
Found this on craigslist. 1959 Ford Ranchwagon It has a 557 cid motor with twin 76mm turbos and is intercooled and fuel injected. C6 automatic trans with a manual shift valve body, 4 wheel disk brakes, 4 corner air bags, onboard compressor and air tank,.... He claims 800 foot pounds and hp varies with boost. Seems like a hoot!
Love V70XC's. I just had a ten day rental of an S60 four door. If the coming v60 wagon version has similar performance it's going to be a lot of fun.
Couldn't build it for that, more than likely. At least not without a big garage, lots of equipment, and some mad skills.
Especially if you had to pay somebody to do it... Not meh favorite color... but looks like a blast.... at least in a straight line....
Yeah I guess a paint job wouldn't be too expensive given what you are paying for the car itself.. With the airbags, I bet it stands up OK to let that front wheel peek out
I'm thinking something along these lines. Prefer the two-door "Ranch Wagon" version better, but that would probably price the rig out of my range. (I dislike the '59 stock headlights, but I dislike the modded version above even more.)
Love the finned Fords. Makes me wonder what Mr. Foose could do with this. <a href="http://s375.photobucket.com/albums/oo191/Headgruver/?action=view¤t=null_zps2c811406.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="https://www.advrider.com/advrider-photobucket-images/images/H/Headgruver_null_zps2c811406.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos" /></a>
alot in a year or two. not much on one of those rebuild in a week shows. they rely heavily on the huge aftermarket available for the most commonly restored cars. and that aint one of 'em.
