Go to google maps, login with your account (or create one), click on "My Places" (top of the left col), then "Maps", and "Create Map".

In the map view there should be three icons near the top: Hand tool, place mark tool, and path tool. Click and hold on the path tool to select "Draw a line along roads". Save as public and share.:clap

Do any locals know the current road conditions in Michaux?

Saturday is supposed to be 50 degrees and sunny, plus I HAVE THE DAY OFF!

I'm thinking of taking a ride up to Michaux (i live about an hour south of there) on Saturday with a friend who has never been.

Are the roads in Michaux still frozen over? Thanks!

The roads are thawed out and muddy right now. At least that is how they are on the north end of Michaux where I live.

I was just down there this weekend and rode down through Caledonia. I live just outside Harrisburg, so it's a great quick runabout and I am fortunate to have it so close...

I'm jealous of all Y'all who live close to the park... ANY good gravel is a min 45 miles from me.

Well my summer home driveway is gravel :D.
But it takes me 20 minute to get to Michaux, or 10 minutes to get to Buchanan, around 15 minutes to get to Tuscarora. Maybe 30 minutes to get to Rothrock. I couldn't have picked a better place myself.

My Grandfather gave us the property. We have been going here all our lives. My ancestors were some of the original settlers of the area. (and some of them still ride around in buggies)
    Feels like home up there.

Roads are muddy with some icy spots in the deep shade. But they are still fun to ride.

Damn I knew I should have went ridin' today, used the 50 degree afternoon temps to make my wee-strom pretty again after last Sunday's crappy weather. After tomorrows 34-40 temps that sloppy stuff should tighten up over the next eight days as the temps will only range from 9 degrees on the 23rd to 36 degrees on the 28th; OUCH!

BradyD and I went riding through the south part of Michaux yesterday. It was just muddyy enough for some added fun, without causing any problems.

Here are our bikes (his xt500 and my xl350) at the big overlook on Oak Road:

This pic was taken on Hawbottom Road in Frederick Md. Hawbottom is surrounded by natural springs, so the road is always flooded out... which always makes it fun:
