    Bill thanks for the maps!!

I just got the maps Bill sent as raffle prizes for this years Westfest in Buena Vista (Event Thread HERE) which is in the heart of the Colorado Back County Discovery Route.

I have never actually seen any of the Butler Maps and did not know what to expect. I have to say I was very impressed, this is well beyond a map and It is a good investment for any MC rider who wants top quality ride suggestions and beta. I think the COBDR route looks like a blast and will be getting one for myself and hopefully my Dad and I can do the ride later this year.

    Thanks for the support Bill

    Ben

    Bill,
Just wanted to say your maps were a tool we could not do without and it made riding the route all the more easier and enjoyable. Your are much more aware of your surroundings when employing the Butler Maps. Easy to pack and use. Great job !
We will not leave home without them on our next trip ! :thumb

    Thanks Frank. :clap

Glad they lived up to your expectations and they provided valuable info when need. They don't show the exact where-am-I way like a GPS does, but rather provide the best way to go & then plug into your GPS to take you there.

2 absolute needed tools IMO to get the best out of a ride or tour.

    Thnx Bill

It won't let me add any item to the cart - I backed out ordering the Bucket list earlier today. I suspect that messed things up. Any ideas on how I can fix it?

    Thanks,
    Jim

Looking forward to using your maps for a mostly(or as much as we can string together) off road tour from the Canadian Border to Mexico later this year.

We are planning on doing the same thing and I have both maps sitting here in front of me. How many days are you giving yourself to do both? I was really looking forward to starting in UT, but it looks like most people in my group want to start with CO to make sure we do all of it, so tentatively looking at parking the vehicles in Durango, CO and head into Delores where we'll pick up the COBDR heading north. We'll be skipping the 4 corners as we have seen that before. We'll follow the entire COBDR north as layed out, but not sure where to pick up UT? I think we'll have 13 days max of riding so probably not heading all the way to the very northern part of UT next to Wyoming. Probably try to pick it up just north of Duchesne? We'll ride the UTBDR south from there, maybe to Monticello or Blanding before heading back East over to CO. Planning on skipping that part that goes over the Moki Dugway and down to Mexican Hat as I've done that twice already. From there back to Durango.

We'll all be on small bikes so trying to keep pavement a minimum between getting from CO to UT and back.
