We have not heard of any improvements but I have had the conversation at the factory about possible changes to this model. Basically to help any swelling issues and maintenance...I Have a email to the owner there and we are awaiting a reply.

*Safari Fuel Tanks will be making a Rally style fairing for the DR650 with Safari Tank!

*Safari KLR Tank will hold 8.2 gallons with only 10 oz left total in the tank. All testing is went well with no problems and we just need to figure out how to get them here quickly!

I believe you are talking about the DR650 Acerbis tanks? I have a hunch they will be mid $300 range.

All Acerbis tank will go up in price on January 1st

oops, missed the rest of the quote - yes, I meant the DR650 tank. Perfect size! I'll be on the lookout in January for these - love to have one on the bike for a trip in February.

Retail will be $359 on those DR650 Tanks.

Also, Anyone planning on buying an Acerbis fuel tank in the future, their prices will rise on January 1st.

You thinking by spring?

They were supposed to be done last year at this time! We had to switch from an un-named company to custom decal. Much faster and nicer decals! So we hope to have these done in the next 1-2 months!
