Are we naming a town? A road? A cabin? Just curious what we should be looking for.

Siphon tube on the way to Lake Owyhee. Didn't know the road name but it must be Siphon Road.

Yes it is a siphon, looking for name of road that goes under it in photo.
Both siphon and road have the same name.

Scratch that. Looked closer at the photos and it's not the one that crosses the Owyhee river. It' the one that crosses:

    Snively Gulch.

If it's late summer and you are brave, you can ford the Owynee at the end of the gulch.

the Oxbow basin road, the work out was up the Snively Gulch road towards Adrian

Yes, but in late Fall they be gone...kinda knew it was not Page...wrong view of what I thought was the Steen [I never got to calling the range the "Steens", named after Enoch Steen by one of his company, never have seen it as the possessive; "Steen's"]..oh well..rode past Hart Mt....but never saw that type of escarpment or even stopped at the campground/hot spring..<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />

Your WAG is correct. Everyone needs to see this area, especially Leslie Gulch. Easy ride for any dual sport. Oregon's "Mini-Moab".

I agree that canyon is breathtaking...that campground has special memories..I left Willow Springs Hot Springs and stopped there pooped and thirsty at that campground to find a guy,his wife, and their dog sitting outside their trailer in the campground. He walked over and asked if I wanted a fresh peach and glass of iced tea...sweet! Nice folks from rural Idaho...the canyon there is a rock hounds gold mine..

I don't have a means to post photos...got thousands...but no way to post...so someone step in keep this thread rolling!
