There's a saying that goes something like; We could go through our whole life and never have the need for a gun, but that one moment that we do, we'll need it really bad and really NOW. Truer words were never spoken.
And I beg to differ that this all sounds "great in theory". It sounds like crap in theory, even worse in reality! The fact that we are discussing this subject at all really freaking sucks! But it is the reality we live in today. I'd like to think that everyone contributing to this thread are basicaly good people, be they:" pro-carry's, no-carry's, pacifist's, activists, sheep or shepards." At some point in our lives we will all either be victoms of crime or a criminals bad day. Be exellant to each other! End rant.

My only hope is that one of us pro-carrys has the opportunity to save the life of a Pacifist so he understands that Turning the Other Cheek doesn't always work.
