The little town of Franklin, Ga ( home of J&J Barbecue) is a small but pretty little town on the banks of the "Hooch." This mural was in the town [IMG]

The Alabama taggers find good places and have great roads so Jub, go for it but make sure you get back across the border before they find you.
Working on a Dives n Diners thing right now.

Next tag ..... Despite the line of storms that I encountered.

Stopped to don rain gear and shortly thereafter it was pouring and lightening popping all around.

The tag though was achieved and here is your next tag location

There are many murals in this town and is worth riding to.

The Alabama tag was over 150 miles from me and the Georgia tag was 50 miles away so I decided to poach the Georgia tag on a rainy day. :evil

So I took off from Savannah, GA yesterday heading west hoping to get the Manchester tag but was beaten, (darn job). However, it was a successful day with a total mileage of over 350 miles.:ricky

Crossing Georgia again, this time from east to west and checking out Eufala, Al while heading north to Franklin.

My new Arai brain bucket passed the long day with flying colors.

That's a pretty good ride for one day! :clap

I've always liked Arai helmets. They seem to fit my round head pretty well.

I almost didn't go after the tag because I saw your profile showing Atlanta and knew that you had a couple of hours head start, I was hoping that you had stopped for breakfast and were maybe waiting out a rain storm. I didn't realize you were coming from Savannah. :clap :clap

We have a home outside ATL and I work for Savannah-Chatham police, worked midnight shift, got off work, fueled up and headed west, but you won fair and square.

If I ever get arrested in Savannah for drunk and disorderly behavior, can I tell them you and I are the best of friends?
