Day 10 begins: soft rain... who cares? we have to go on...




so first put on the wet shoes....



a great view is something differently...



THERE...a bright spot...



and it became better and better!!!





...it became better all the time... and the day had just started...

how I said before, the weather became better from one minute to the next..


and then we reached our interim target.. John O'Groats - the most northern point of Scotland!!!






unfortunately we didn't see some small fishes...wrong time for this..




and see who was here before as well You know them?... this was the starting point of their journey "long way down"

from the most northern point we drove westbound...all the time along the coast.... with pleasant 22 degrees...




It was time for my great fun!!!




this was really exhausting.... but also brilliant! I'd love to try this without the boxes






after 20min I had to stop myself... I didn't want to trash the bike because we were somewhere in the nowhere...


for me it was like christmas and birthday together...

this day was far and away the best day of our whole journey... great weather, beautiful region, everything aaaaaawesome









our best friends from the left to the right or the other way round.... and in playing hide-and-seek or give us a fright they are the best ones

on the same day we also saw the animals, we were waiting for the whole time the things we do for great and impressive film recordings.. you can see this scene in our video at minute 07:10..

Finally found a campsite...great view from the tent!!!

how I said before... this day was sensational.....


at this beach I couldn't control myself..


on the information of the campsite we were told, that the water had a temperature of 7 degrees...I don't mind, I had to do it..

our interim target for today is the Isle of Skye...
we wanted to test a B&B too...but many were booked up and those with free rooms were to expensive for us ... 80pounds..

so let's go to the hostel... we got a four-bed-room for 50pounds luxury..


and the best of it... a pub next door...YES...


the evening was really funny because a group of 10 young guys met there...after about 30 minutes the guys were in really good mood and sing along every song...entertaining!

The next morning... woke up in the bed totally relaxed and without hangover first of all I fixed the boxes on the bike...the weather is still dry...


and let's go... we liked it...


The connection to the mainland... There we saw another KLR... in the movie at 09:04...


Breeeeakfast...


after 30kilometers I noticed that I forget to hand over the roomcard at the hotel...so let's go back... the funny thing, we passed a police control three times


after the small detour we saw the next highlight..

we left our personal fingerprint

war memorial... somehow eerie...




weird to see the pictures of soldiers same age then we or even younger sad...
