Would anyone want a bunch of those little green propane tanks? I have something like 8 or 10 of them just taking up space. I tried refilling them with the adapter you can get at Harbor Freight. It works but doesn't give you a full charge. I'd give them to someone who isn't going to just use them for target practice.

How 'bout them what? You want to make burn barrels and smokers out of little green propane tanks? :huh I don't care what anybody wants to do with them, but I'd prefer they not end up as desert litter.

Hey y'all. I am putting a group together to ride a loop from Mayer, out to Palace sta, almost to Kirkland, to Prescott for lunch, down to 5 points, then Poland Jct road back to Mayer. We've ridden this route before and it's pretty and fun. Gas and lunch at 55 miles, total ride distance is about 90 miles.
Plan is to leave from the BLM parking area Southwest of Mayer at 8:30 Saturday (March 8)
I've got a GPS track: PM me with your email and I can send it to you

Made some progress on the CT70... 4 new wheel bearings, new rubber. The bike has made it off the workbench and back onto the floor. The 100% restoration fund dried up so now I'm just trying to get it back together. Doesn't look like much without the engine!

I don't know how you could tell in that pic, but I'm guessing you mean the milk crate on the back of the KLR. :D

Yes, I had to rebuild the top end.
That's all complete but I need to split the right side off the lower case to replace a gasket.

I'm sure there is some technical descriptive name for that part but I don't know what it is.:lol3 It's the side where the brake and the kickstarter are. I've got to pull the 8-10 screws that hold the outer shell, clean off the old gasket, place the new one, replace the oil seal around the kickstart shaft, and then put it all back together without cross threading any of the screws.

Oh, I'm sorry. I was talking about the top end thing. I thought those bikes had the jug facing forward.

Oh, I see, you're right. In my head I was thinking about the side case gasket.
    Doh.

Thank you DOD. I always wanted the group to grow so others could be able to communicate with other riders and have fun (rides, parties, meetings, lessons). And YARDSTICK, yes I can always watch the videos & wanna be there too.

There was one time that we put on a riding lesson of sorts for riders that were just beginning. One guy said "you know this is the coolest ever. No one anywhere helps other riders like y'all do". I was very proud of you senior (not OLD) riders helping those that only had beginning skills.

Keep talking guys and gals.... ride on & God Speed my friends :freaky

Hey guys, I'm a rider from NJ. I am visiting the Phoenix area with my kids in late April and would like to rent a couple of dirt bikes for a day while we are out there. Can any of you recommend a local rental shop? Many thanks for any advice you can offer!
