Good news for those that want a low suspension GS with Dynamic ESA...it is available, contrary to previous info, per my local dealer. Montauk?

Strange. Here in belgium they are about the same price. 1280 € for the bmw set and tourarech is about the same.

I didn't knew who gave you that wrong info initially. My low seat and low suspension gs has been on order for ovaer a month now.
But i heard the low suspension was only available with esa.

Got it, thanks. But there's no pics of the whole bike with just the racks, just the rear section. I'm torn between the varios and Touratech Zega Pros on my new bike. The difference in price is about £450. I'm probably not going to do any offroading. I'm slightly put off by the MASSIVE racks that will be left behind when the panniers aren't on the bike (which will be about 70% of the time), but like the top loading facility. And I like that the varios are properly waterproof and much slimmer. Decisions decisions.:lol3

FWIW - I initially thought the racks on my 2012 GSA looked ugly, but I can't remember the last time I rode the bike without the cases on it, so I guess it really doesn't matter. The only downside to leaving the cases on all the time is that the bike is a little too wide to lane split in traffic comfortably (for me). Other than that, an extra 20-30lbs of cases goes entirely unnoticed on a nearly 600lb bike.

    Awesome! :lol3

There was a lot of contradictory information earlier in this thread about this topic. Historically the low suspension was never available with ESA...some sources said the new GS would have it and some said no and as I recall there was no firm determination in this thread one way or the other.

Go to Touratech website, somewhere there are pictures of WC GS with panniers that you interested in installed. The CEO/Founder of Tourtech went on a tour and posted picture. Do a little search and you shall have that info.

Posting through iPhone so can't do much of a multitasking. Can be do e but take awful long time.

Yes like half a kilo. Not "slightly" in my book.
(as wheel weight - not compared to bike total weight... there the better weight reduction would be for the RIDER HIMSELF to go on a diet)

    I own spoke wheels btw...
