Got a Couple of bikes for sale in Bristol UK 2007 Triumph Tiger http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=875645 1990 XR250 http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=875646
I think I will buy the same. However it depends if I will be riding with the 990 or with the 690R. The 690R light wise is a disaster... Nic
I've just fitted a pair of mini spots to my Honda CRF 230--they are only about 1 watt each but are the superbright CREE technology--they make a real difference and make the incandescents look really yellow. These were only 6 GBP each from "abroad" , and are waterproof and really throw away at that price. The CREE "tower" LEDs that are now available with conventional bulb fitments are also pretty cheap. I reckon that you could pick up a set of mini spots for not much and replace the bulbs with LED tower types at a fraction of the cost. There is always a bit of a chance on the focussing being good enough--but 30 GBP versus 230 GBP sounds like its worth a try.--and much kinder on the alternator!! CB
I dont find the 990 too good either. Co rider is planning on 4x 55w HID ill need sunblock on my neck! sent using my fingers and voodoo magic.
I have taken the knobblies off and put on some pirelli AT tyres that are almost new. The actual mileage is 8260 goodness knows where I got 8.6 from. Anyway to try and move it I am reducing to £5300 clive Preice reduced to £5650 as panniers now off the bike[/QUOTE]
I have replaced my H4 with HID 35w bulb. The light is 3 times what a halogen puts out and 20 watts less power consumption. Cost is pretty low, $23 + $7-8 shipping I think. I chose 6000K light color, it is just a tint of blue. It lights up highway signs on the right side (cut-off beam) in daylight. Here is link: http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/DDM-35W-55W-Single-Motorcycle-HID-Kit YMMV
Cheers for link an PM but it's the other way around. I want to go to H4 from S2. None of their products allow that. sent using my fingers and voodoo magic.

I have a set of applied racing fatbar clamps at home that I got with the tripple trees and since I just bought a new 7/8 renthal enduro high bars I can't use them. So if anyone wants to trade for 7/8 clamps or buy them, let me know. They are unused, just some storage marks on them.
I bought this setup from woody's back in 2009.It's been on the bike for less than 1k km,prior to selling the bike with the original wheels. The wheels are fitted with Pirelli Scorpion Sync tyres, purchased new for this setup. They've been collecting dust since,so i figgure somebody will make better use of them. This is what i paid for them, plus shipping and customs tax...it will add well over 1k euros: Front billet hub-299 Rear billet hub-299 SS spokes/ nipples-256 for both wheels Superlace/true-198 for both wheels Front 19x2.5 black excel rim-240 Rear used Black 4.5x17 excel rim-180 Sensible offers over 600 euros accepted,or PX with Jesse's panniers. contact me @ dinu_mircea@yahoo.co.uk or mar-shipel@subsea7.com NOW SOLD!
**********SOLD************* Got one of these for sale if anyone's interested: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XzGV37uwqTY It's all complete including a selection of spacer tubes that come with it to suit different diameter spindles. I no longer need it, it's in full working order, the only issue with it (doesn't affect it's use in any way) is that through "operator error" I managed to put a very slight bend in one of the legs. Note that the whole thing unbolts and can be flat packed if storage is an issue, take 5-10 minutes max to assemble. They're £225.00 from Italy, looking for £150.00 ovno, collection only although I will be just west of Colchester this coming Sunday (5th May) lunchtime and can deliver to that immediate area or en-route. I do have photos but can't upload them at present, will do so later or let me know if you want them emailing straight to you. Would consider PX with cash either way for any interesting parts or spares for either a KTM 690 Enduro or a Husaberg FE390/450/570. Steve 07817 570803 Oxford
