You used to have to click on the A/A symbol in the top right corner of the "reply box" but the last couple of times I have embeded video I didnt do that and it embeded just fine.

Totally bummed I am going to miss the last CnR or the year.

Me too; last night I dropped the WR exhaust cam's half moon thrust clip down the timing chain chute. Can't fish it with my tiny magnet, so gonna flip the bike and try to jostle it out.

You have clearly been taking wrenching lessons from the mrt school of maintenance.

Ummm.... I vote for more surgical methods. Tape a tiny magnet on the end of the boroscope.


Try renting borrowing or buying a boro-scope. Lowes Homedepot pepboys sell them.

That video is just how the assembly went, till I dropped the clip.

Pulled the stator cover and there it was stuck to the rotor magnet

That sucks.from watching that video you can have the whole thing apart in 5 min.lol
I have access to one of those camera things at my work I could get my hands on.think you are better off with a maginet and some shaking as long as clip is magnetic and not stuck in oil.my luck I would take it all apart again to find clip missed hole and got stuck somewhere else. Good luck

Guess I can upload more if you want to see.nothing exciting. Camera was off on my crash.got time on my hands.no work for at least another month.no cash either: (

another month off work still eh? I can relate... Not currently; but I had some time off due to an injury a while back.. If you go back a ways in the thread I'm sure there's mention of my faux pas.

Riding in December has it's own challenges. A lot of times the puddles have a half inch of ice on them - just enough to roll out to the middle before you break through. That's a good time to let the big heavy guys go first. You can get stuck pretty good in those big puddles.

Seeing water and mud freeze to your fender when it's clearly above freezing temperatures is an interesting phenomenon. The wind chill literally causes the splashes to freeze up nicely.

My very first Pachaug loop it was just like you describing, 'cept I was last and getting stuck in ice after all the 'lil bikes went over...

There were some frozen puddles on this ride from last winter..

I get taken out by the ice at the end of one of the bigger puddles in that video, as seen in the intro.. A bunch of noobs on dirt bikes..

Yes, that's me on the 250, with supermoto tires. The big chunks of ice were tricky indeed. Fun ride.

Ice on the puddles doesn't scare me as much as sleeping in a tent in CT in December. You guys are whacky.

It won't be the first time. Honestly, its not bad when you burn a whole truckload of wood. I'm certainly not going to do it if its going to be too cold, but if the temps dip a little below freezing at night, its not bad.

There have been high quality zero degree down bags on Sierra Trading Post for the last few weeks.. sleeping in a tent with a zero degree bag is no issue.. as long as it doesnt get any cooler than 15 degrees
