They're probably Low Sodium Vapors. Widely used in parking lots everywhere. They give it that sepia feel. :evil

They'll pull you into a yellow based color...

the thing about these lights is they didn't have that yellowish sodium type light, but I could be wrong. plus at that time there was still some natural light in play possibly washing out the sodium light, if they were sodium lights.

reminds me of a long time ago at the civic center when peter gabriel opened up with "on the air"....:gerg

(the song has a line in it which mentions sodium lamps for the uninformed)

at the risk of sounding like a know-it-all (since you coaxed my opinion of "airheads" earlier, those lights seem to be high pressure sodium vapor lamps, as opposed to the warm orange light that low-pressure sodium vapor lamps give off. Then again if they were even brighter than regular street lamps they may have been Mercury vapor lamps or Metal halide which also give off super bright and cool light.
You can do some decent correction with iPhoto but if you have a mac, you should upgrade to Aperture. It is something like $60 I think, and the beauty of it is that it shares the same library as your iPhoto library. Close iPhoto and open Aperture and the same events and photos show up, but you have way more high end color correction available to you. Everything photoshop can do and more for color correction. The quality of my images has greatly improved since I made the switch, and I only bother correcting certain valuable shots with it. Most of the time I just keep using iPhoto.

    I really shouldn't have, but I did. R100RT. $950

Can't see it but there's no brakes connected to the master cylinders front or rear. No battery. Sat for 10 years. Turns over with good compression when jumped, but the float bowls smelled so gummy I didn't try to start it.

Comes with bags and a nice Eclipse tank bag. No tools. No tool tray either.

Title says 1983 but the VIN checks out at a manufacture date of Jan 82. Would you turn this down for $950?

    Pretty though.

Will do just that tomorrow. Isn't that part of the appeal of a potential parts bike? Determining what it will take to make it a runner and how much the years have taken from a 30K mile tourer.

Where'd you find a brand new 3 lug mono hub? You don't see those for sale all the time.
