It looks that way! LOl! Actually the building houses 'The Rennie Mackintosh house' .... inside all the rooms are reconstructions of the interiors of Mackintosh's own home with all his own designed furniture and artifacts.

Few more of the pics from past ride-outs - 'happy days' ...

    Bubu,

Good to see you are getting 'stuck in'. It's a nice garage set up you have there. Unfortunately, as you know, our bikes live in a large communal garage under the flats.... and the 'powers that be' don't even like it if we charge the batteries down there.
So, no - other than clean and spray Sarah's gixxer with Fs365 protector spray, remove the battery and cover her, that's it ...till spring when the gixxer will go to the dealers for a service ready for next season.:deal

Freezing temps this weekend with plenty of ice lying this morning. We have been out cycling both days ...yesterday we completed the last section of the Union Canal into the heart of Edinburgh, which is a small 'milestone' for us, as it means we have now explored the entire length of both the Clyde & Forth Canal and the connecting Union Canal from Bowling on the west coast across to the Firth of Forth and Edinburgh on the East coast.

These swans were waiting for us at the end of the Union Canal in Edinburgh...

AS luck would have it the Union Canal passes quite close to 'Saltire Suzuki' (where I bought my last gixxer) and, as it was starting to rain we took the opportunity to pop in for a wee look round. They have now also got a Yamaha franchise and also sell Royal Enfields which are made in, and imported, from India I understand. Seems a bit weird that India are exporting Royal Enfields to Britain...:huh..when at one time it would have been the other way round......but I guess it is just a sign of the 'changing times'. :deal

I quite like going through to Saltire, I've always liked how they have the older Suzuki's dotted around the shop. Its good to see they've got a Yamaha and RE dealership now, they must be doing well. I'll need to pop along one weekend for a look. :deal

Aye, it's always worth popping in to Saltire - it's a huge showroom with plenty of bikes to drool over. :deal

    Very nice, thanks Kam

This is the last model of 750 oil cooled engine.

But the 91 have many problems and it is less powerful than the 89-90:deal

Hi bubu, I thought it had slightly more power (116bhp instead of 115bhp), but the problem was it weighed a whopping 15 Kgs more.

big problems with the system which controls the admission and exhaust valves.

And in reality the engine is less powerful for many reason, and the first one is the exhaust line a bit different than the 89.
116 bhp on the paper and 100 at the rear wheel when all is ok. Mine has 129 bhp :evil:evil

If you want a perfect one, you must take the 89-90 engine, the ignition system of the 86, the exhaust ligne of the 88. And after you can start to work inside the engine :deal

Autumn colours on the Union Canal..

By way of a contrast ..but equally colourful - The new Glasgow Hydro concert venue..... We cycled past it on Sunday evening ...it was glowing red/pink ....... sometimes it is blue/green....... It is going to host some of the events at next year's Commonwealth Games and also next years MTV Awards amongst other events.
