Take a look at this thread if you want to mount the Agri Supply tool tube on your R1200 GS Adventure:

I used the same approach on my 09 Adventure and it worked great.

I've got an '08 GS and couldn't find a place to put it either. I ended up mounting it to the bottom of the right side Vario case. It worked out great lining up flush with the back of the bag. I just used 3 - 3/16 bolts and bolted it directly through the bottom of the case.

I'll try to get a pic for ya.

My install is very similar, but I placed both front and rear Adel clamps around the saddlebag mounts instead of one on the frame tube. Secure, protected and out of the way when installing the OEM GSA bags.

well after checking all my local auto parts stores, home depot, lowes, electrical supply and local hardware stores, i finally found the rubber clamps and hardware (at a auto parts supply place) to mount the agri tool tube. install was easy and straight forward. a little contact cleaner took the yellow writing on the outside of the tube. here is the final result.

$20,000 motorcycle deserves something nicer, IMHO. :huh

i was looking at the gt moto tool tube but i just couldn't justify spending over $130 for a tool tube when i could spend $10 on one that in my opinion, looks like it fits the bike. plus the agri tube holds more stuff!

Looks better (less wing like) with system cases on bike

I bought these back in like march and couldn't figure out where to mount them eithe till i got my Caribou deck plate. I added some aluminum angle on each side to mount the tube to.. Had to drill some "random" hole in angle too so i could still us bungees.. I keep tire tools and few other tool in the left one and some caribeaners, tie down stuff in the other..and my insurance card,,

Caution.... on my last long haul trip i thought i would stash some extra cash and an extra credit card in one just in case i "lost" or some one stole my bill fold.. Cash did fine credit card conformed to the shape of tube and had to be replaced..
