I own this thing... super light weight and with it's large tires and pointed nose makes it great for towing and tracks great. I have it for sale but if I still have it next spring I may modify it for camping. It's 4x8...

I would turn that into a tiny camper in a skinny minute. A couple of windows, a roof top vent, wire in some 110 and 12v and a 2 doors and you would have the perfect rigid tent...

I was looking at the others - the ones that look like a porta-potty on its side, and they are not tall enough for a dirt bike. My dirt bikes are 48" at the handlebars and the trailer is 41" inside (at least at the opening anyway).

Between the need to either haul a trailer or put a bike in the vehicle, and the need for something a little better in the snow than a lightweight AWD version of a 2WD vehicle, I decided I would want either a Toyota compact pickup or a Jeep. I.E., something a bit more heavy duty.

I had six inches of snow when I got up this morning so I took the truck to work instead of the Bimmer. Would have never made it with the car. Driving a 1+ ton flatbed truck was exactly fun, but being a 4x4 it did well in the snow. Problem is that the snow only lasted for two miles until I got to the pavement and then the truck was just a slow old beast.

Need to get something smaller and more of a daily driver. I was hoping that I wouldn't have any snow and then I got it dumped on me. May get more tonight.

There common use is small rvs and mobile offices for the larger ones, I believe they go to 26ft.

If you're going to tow something like that behind ya, why not just tow a pop up or regular camper trailer? LOL

It's way fancier.


Plus you can detach the canvas you have one helluva kite.

A regular camper trailer is a lot bigger to store, and because of weight and aerodynamics, is a much bigger deal in terms of towing load.

Well, as it turns out, I don't need to do any modifications to get the little bike on the pop up. I'm pretty happy and will be taking it to Death Valley for the first run with a bike on the front. Ooh, comfort camping. What's next?







I might put a plate on the under side of the hooks, but this is with zero modifications, so I'm pretty happy about that.

I did the same thing with my KTM on the front deck of my E1.
Did you measure the tongue weight? I only checked the fit and didn't measure my tongue weight so I'm just curious.
The tiedown rings in the deck seemed a little sketchy also so I'm going to reinforce these in a way yet unknown. I also mounted a bike shoe and the wheels lined up perfectly on top of the frame rails so no issues with bike weight stressing the deck. I have a few more ideas and live in Minnesota so have all winter to get it done.
