Goin' to a rally in Idyhoe in another week or so... maybe somebody could pick it up an' drop it back on this side of the river... I miss the old nut.
When one of y'all comes up here to get Mr. Nutsy, bring eggy along... I'd like to get a piece of that, too.
OK....First the 'GRAB' Lovely overlook I might add. (and NO, after 25 years of living out here, I ain't never heard of this place.) (uh-oh......pirate allert!!) Right where he was supposed to be! Had a great ride on Friday, and an even better ride and got to see lotsa cool stuff on Saturday. We (Nutzy & I), went to the Pacific NorthWest Antique Truck Show at a place called 'Powerland'. http://www.antiquepowerland.com/ Absolutely awesome place to go if you like machinery!! (I highly reccommend going to the "Great Oregon Steam-Up" held the end of July each year......frikken cool as hell!!!) Then we buzzed back up I-5 to Woodburn to go to the "All Harley Drags" held this same weekend each year. From there we headed back down I-5 to Corvalis to ride OR-34...one of the funnest 2 lanes roads a motorcycle rider's money can buy!!! (I go out of my way just to ride this particular stretch of road) From there I headed South on hwy 101...until I came to THIS... from there you... all the way up to the top! At the top is a parking lot so a person can get out and enjoy this incredible view of the mighty Pacific Ocean!! (I took a pic of Nutzy enjoying the view, but my damn fat thumb got in picture (damn disposable cameras!!!) So here's our *New DROP SHOT*!!! Once parked, there's a trailhead heading down to the main viewpoint. The trailmarker looks like this... and right behind this here chunk of rotted log is where Mr. NUTMAN's canister is Hiding!!.... Come and get 'im!!! I put 550 miles on my old hardtail chopper in the last 24 hours. Any of you 'whimps' out there ready for a run to the coast??? GAME ON KIDS!!!
I could actually be in a position to get this in about ten days. Flying out to Cal to visit my forlorn KLR at NAS Point Mugu and play with it for a coupla weeks. I don't think I'll make it up the coast that far, however.
If you have a couple of week it seems you might have enough time to go up and get it. AND bring it back home to Florida. Just sayin, ya no
You don't know what you're missing Steve!! Phoenominal riding up in these here parts! (especially out here on the coast)
Good drop Patrick Hmmm... now that The Rust Bucket has moved, I don't see Idaho on the list of states he's been to... wonder how he'd like the winter there... in CdA
