Everyone's coconut is shaped different. Mine is a match for the C3, and now the C3 Pro. And I'm sure yours is happy with the Signet-Q.

I ordered a White C3 with the World graphics from Revzilla yesterday after seeing the sale. I had been planning on replacing the C2 I had brought back from Germany when it hit the 5 year mark this fall. The sale got me off the fence. Revzilla surpassed my expectations. I placed the order yesterday and when I got home this afternoon it was waiting for me on the front porch. Looks like great riding weather this weekend. I am anxious to try it out. I was so impressed with Revzilla I turned around and spent my Revzilla cash a couple of minutes ago on a new pair of gloves.
I am looking at the C3 in HIViz yellow. How long should the HiViz last before fading? This is an important item for me in choosing the color. My 500 dollar BMW jacket lasted 1-2 riding seasons before losing 50% of the HiViz quality. Also, my head measures 23.25 inches which is just over the Large recommendation and not quite an extra large. Should I move up to XL or go with a large? Thanks!
My head measures 63 cm. and a 7-7/8 fits perfectly. Your 23.25 is equal to 59 cm. Schuberths are labeled with circumference as well as hat size.
Hi Dave, We're always excited to hear about a great customer experience. Your kind words earned a Gong on the ZLA Gong that gets a good ring whenever we get positive feedback. Enjoy your new Schubie! Cheers, Ali TeamZilla
Hi Merlin The Third, Fortunately, High-Vis helmets with a clear coat tend to last much longer than High-Vis fabrics. I have a 2 year old Arai XD3 HV that looks as bright as the new helmets on our shelf. I would say fading shouldn't be much of a problem. As far as size, it would depend more on your head shape in conjunction with measurement. If you have more of an oval head, you might be more comfortable going one size up. If possible, I would suggest giving our Gear Geeks a call who can spend some time with you determining which size is going to be the best fit. Cheers, Ali TeamZilla
To elaborate on my question in the title... I was told by an apparently qualified Helmet rep that you could convert a size Medium Schuberth to a size Large by swapping out the fabric liner and both cheek pads to the large size. While I was able to confirm both the Medium and the Large share the same shell, I wasn't able to determine if the interior styrofoam requires being swapped out to make it a true size large, and if it does, can that be done after it leaves the factory? Thanks for your time
My C3 arrived from Revzilla last week, and I have to say it's a fabulously quiet and light helmet...much better then my N104 that was very loud only on the left side. The fit is great, and I'm very happy!
I got my large yesterday, but it turned out to be too small. Sent it back for an x-large. I hope it isn't too big. My head measurement was between the two, but closer to the large. I like Revzilla and the price was right, but there is no substitute for trying a helmet on in person.
Hi Revzilla guys, I'm looking to buy a new C3Pro from you (existing customer) but would first like your advice on measuring my noggin. I understand that one should measure at the widest part just above the ears but how do you tell your head shape? You know, round, oval, oblong? If you could clear this up, that'd be great. Ta.
Hi Klavdy, It can be tough to determine your own head shape, especially if you fall somewhere in the middle of the scale. Arai does a great job of helping to define the differences between round oval, intermediate oval and long oval. You can take a picture of the top of your head and compare it to their chart, or enlist the help of a friend to compare. The new C3 Pro has a much more comfortable and ergonomic shape over the C3, but I still would say it is not a good fit for folks who fall in the long oval category. For those folks with a more intermediate oval to neutral head shape, the C3 Pro should be a good fit. Folks with a more round oval head might find the C3 a better fit. If you have more questions, don't forget our team of Gear Geeks are here to help and know the Schuberth line inside and out. Cheers, Ali TeamZilla
At the MOA rally last summer for a C3 world graphic model . $625.00, now they're under $500 . That blows, but what really blows is the wind blowing in the visor, top left at any speed . It's fantastic ability for fog under 60 degress . Making it unable to ride in fog, rain or the morning in the mountains . The city position for the shield allows a gale to blow across your face . I must admit, I did not install the pinlock shield . That in my opinion is an after thought . I'm sorry, but a helemt with the cred of a Schuberth should not require owner instalation of parts to make it useable . It isn't a lot quieter than the C1, but is lighter . That said, I likely won't be buying another when I've had enough of this one .
Did you lock the visor down? Just lowering it isn't enough, you have to pull down until it latches. Mine seals perfectly. The pinlock works very well, and it takes about 5 minutes to install. I leave mine in all the time.
