I figured I'd toss in some carnage photos of the yz125 teardown.

The PO was a hack, even by my standards.

I figure to send the stuff over to Ken O'Connor and get a new sleeve dropped in to start back at the standard size, as its already bored 50 over. Thoughts?

EDIT: On closer inspection, this cylinder is already sleeved. Fudge it, I'll just bore it to 1.00mm over and drop in a wiseco kit. Done and done.

Any other details on this? I grew up about 15 minutes from sand ridge, and I used to run on the trails there all the time. They have quite a few trails, but they are only open for foot and horse traffic, last I knew anyhow.

If you are looking for a place to ride in that approximate area, there is always brushy ridge. It's over by Browning though.

I forwarded the link to Shelby. He seems to think that one of these would be a nice addition to his stable.
However, he'll be hard pressed to out do the CRF150. That thing is Wicked :eek1

On the road warrior side of things, I saw a green dualsport with saddlebags and whatnot when I was going south in Urbana through the pretty-damn-close-to-April-snow-showers earlier today

I don't think you guys should take Sydney riding anymore.

She'll be showing you all up pretty soon.

No more details yet, thats why I questioned it here. I'm close to Bloomington, have rode at brushy ridge and attended dirt bike church in that general vicinity sunday. On the way home I feel as though I dropped the ball. I stopped at casey's in San Jose and was waiting inline behind a guy with the green Dept. of conservation uniform on, didn't occur to me till I was walking outside towards my truck (with dirt bike in back) to ask him if there was any news of riding at Sand Ridge (the sign was just right up the road) as he was already pulling away.
I think on my next day off I'll call over there and see what I can find out.

Is it just me, or do a lot of people around Central IL smoke crack?

You see, I got this 1982 motosickle for sell, no title, it's been bastardized, but it's a classic, I don't know, how about $1000.00 motherfucking dollars.

I wouldn't give the guy $1 per CC.

That's my friend's bike, so go easy BigBoreTemper. He's no flim-flammer, and an old-school 2smoker enthusiast. That bike was torn apart by a PO, so all those cool NX250 fairing bits are long gone. Rode this bike at the badlands, worked just fine. Still, bit of a high price but of course people are gonna lowball so it'll probably go for 700 bucks.

Also, this thing is actually maintained which is a nice departure from the other 1k and under bikes I've been party to (see also: dt175, it400, yz125)

....I am a motorcycle mechanic, but can't seem to figure out how to put together this motorcycle. But you are lucky lucky, because if I did put it together (which I won't, you know, no time - that old chestnut), It'd cost you three grand, but for half that, back your truck on up here and let me fill it with CB750 parts which, when put together (by someone, not me) may or may not be a motorcycle.

    I'll take $9599.00 for my 530 and $16588.00 for my 950SE.

No test rides, cash only. These bikes wheelie in all 12 gears.

And no trades, and I will not sell to a Texan either, or a TEA party member.

Need cash fast. My new quad is at the dealership waiting for me.
