I'm not concerned about a big turnout per se.. and after Memorial Day I've got pretty much every weekend through the end of July spoken for. It's the beginning of the rally season :-) If three or four can make it Sunday, good, if not, that's good too. I'm still planning on riding through. I've never been to that rodeo anyway. A couple guys at WARPED mentioned having a RTE in the area soon, and this was the only weekend (at this point) that I could do it.

Which of course, isn't to say that SOMEONE ELSE couldn't schedule something in the area:evil

It's clear that you are getting too old to ride.

I might be able to make it out Sunday. I grew up in paso and I'VE never been to the park field rodeo lol. Any idea what time of day you'll be through? Make a little ride out of it? What are you riding?

I'll be riding a GS on the way back from the rally in Mariposa. Should be coming through between 12-1

Sounds like fun. But right now the GS is sitting without shocks --GSWayne decided that the shocks needed to be re-built before we head up north this summer.

Good move. I neglected mine for too long and the rear self destructed, fortunately in the driveway. Custom Ohlins followed and I'm happy :-)

Does that mean that you are not going to stop on your way south?

I am/was hoping to get the T/A operational and make a test run up with it.

Unlike Walt, I don't have any friends and I don't have every weekend from here to entirety planned out, I planned on visiting with some of the geriatric group and watching the cows come home.
I am hoping to be there about noon, I guess It will be easier for 1 person to get a burger than a bunch of rowdy bikers trying to get everything in the freezer!

    Hi, Bob :wave

I still plan on showing up.. just not going to try to make it an official "thing" where there's any expectation of participation.

Treadless and Computorless..good to see you both yesterday. Where did you guys disappear to? I looked over my shoulder at Creston and you guys were gone. I hung for about 5 minutes then remembered something about John wanting to check out a property in the area. Figuring you turned off somewhere, I kept rolling.

Bob.. must have got "lucky" :lol3

Well surprisingly Walt was objecting to wearing the dress required for the rodeo clowns so not much in the way of entertainment. And other scenery was surprisingly of short supply, at least of legal age. The usual speed & confusion with the staff so all was status quo for the most part. For the most part traffic was light, nice day for a ride.

John caught me out on that turn off also. Thought about leaving a mess. for you. Decided to hope that you were paying enough attention to his ramblings to have picked up on his need to look at Old Goat Road.

As always enjoyed your company and thanks for lunch. :D I do appreciate you picking up the tab for my sandwich that John ate for me. :bluduh :lol3

Walt, right you are, I was poking the wife.

With a sharp stick, or some other garden debris in her eye.

Spent the morning at the ER getting her vision back. Once she could see "clearly" again, she said why don't you go for your ride. Unfortunately it was 11:00 by the time we got home and I figured if I slabbed to San Miguel I might see your dust as you were leaving.

    Glad you guys got together.
    Next time.

Sorry I didn't make it. I rode by but was having a REALLY bad day and needed to just ride on and keep talking to myself in my helmet. Went up over the grade and to coalinga. Came back 198 to Peachtree/Indian valley. I will try to be in a better mood and stop for a chat next time.
