Which is why there should be a large number of older CR230L's available for sale cheap!

    But where are they :dunno

They must be too good. No one wants to part with them.

    Or they've all blown up.

What about the Suzuki DR200? That seems to be getting just too small. The CRF250L I am quite taken with though.

Doesn't look too bad. $1750 for 10 days of riding. You do get any bike you want though..

I wonder if he will make it??

I think you'd be much happier with the DR350. Both are somewhat old tech, but the DR's additional displacement would be a big asset for the... ample gentleman. Prolly more aftermarket support there as well.

Well, to be honest, that's what I keep coming back to.

Fun looking at new bikes though.

There was a perfect, and I mean PERFECT DR350 for sale not far from me recently (kindly pointed out by Mr Ride_There), but I was not in a position to pull the trigger on that purchase, so I missed out. Such is life.

    That was my thinking too.

    How come a DR350?? Why not a DR400??

I'm going to the swap meet thingie and see if I can fund a new helmet with a bunch of crap I mean parts and stuff from the garage. Someone call or text or something and let me know if the Rancho Grande thing is ON and I'll bail if the traffic is slow at the swap.

I was thinking/hoping we could do Rancho at 2p or so. Later would be better, but earlier not so much.

Some dirt bike parts are going away tomorrow and the 200xcw might be leaving too. Should be all wrapped up by 11:30, should be to Moon about noonish. Some time for browsing and foolishness and pretty soon it is 2.

    Seem reasonable???

I didn't see that listed as an option under consideration so I was avoiding the dread internet scope creep.

Now that it's on the table, I think the DR400 is the better bike off road and the DR350 is better on road. I don't own either one so take that opinion FWIW. There's lots of good bikes out there... just depends on whatcha wanna pay and how yer gonna use 'em.

Need to find time to bail on Anderson to grab lunch at RG. :evil
Heading up to Moon in a bit. Why am I up so early on a krappy Saturday? :puke1 DR350s are a great bike and with a larger tank and betterer seat do not suck at all on the highway. Just don't plan to run a Minnesota 1000 on one, although I might. And there will be stories.

You are clearly bored with your DR350 and you should sell it to me. I will bring cash and pick it up at Moon today. No need to thank me, it is my pleasure.
