04 GSA w/Jessy boxes loaded for bear, About 37 mpg when held at a steady 75 mph and much worse when riding for fun, better when out of California and the crapy fuel here. Well it seems I always get better milage when out of state, not really sure why maybe just less stop and go
02 1150 with GSA gas tank and stock system cases - I get 36mpg in the city - 43-45mpg slabbing at 75-80 mph. I have noticed that the top case increases fuel consumption a bit....
You've been riding too close to the Prairie Island Nuclear Power Station and your brain is, well...you have my sympathy... I don't use heavy water for washing my BMW. You see, here in AL, we use coal to fire our power plants...and fortunately, we have the 6th best water quality in the US that comes into our houses. But, I like Minnesota...was birthed there...really like the MN indians...they grow wild rice. I used to haul ore out of Taconite Harbor and fish as a boy in Lake Plantagenet...ride my bicycle to the Minneapolis airport and watch the Lockeed Connies perform mag drops prior to takeoff. Oh, what a wonderful life... ...then I bought a BMW motorcycle.........
About 38 with a passenger through the twisties and about 41 solo on the slab. 93k miles on the clock.
