So..... the General and I are chatting last week and the conversation does a one-eighty. Still not sure how the Easter dinner menu details suddenly mutated into a comment about old Fite's waist size. Bottom line.... the lady with whom I share a house thinks that maybe I need to start paying a bit more attention to what I eat. Maybe start an exercise regiment, take better care of myself, bla bla bla, shed a few pounds. :huh:huh:huh

So I bought myself an exercise bike!

    2012 XR650L
    1800 miles
    Acerbis 5.8 tank
    Rear rack plus sub-frame support
    Bark Busters
    Bash plate
    Headlight protection
    Windshield (may not stay mounted)

    I'm pretty stoked!
Have been looking for something that can get me in a little deeper
woods-wise than BiggerBird and not bust the bank.

    Farkles will include:
    milk crate
    hip boots
    shovel
    4H stickie

Can't wait for the snow to go away so I can start exercising!

Send that engine off to the Wizard this winter, The Cycle Wizard. If your oil temps get high, I used a GSMark oil cooler. That is his screen name on here.

You'll love the ol' girl (2012 may be new but the design is circa 1993!).

    Farkling recommendation:
    1. Upgrade fork springs and rear coil. You won't regret it! Precision Concepts in SoCal or order your own.
    2. Wider pegs
    3. Dave's Mods to the carb (EASY!)
    4. SAVE the spark plug tool! You'll need it if you ever swamp the engine.
    5. Headlight cutoff switch (See #4)
    6. XRR front fender
    7. Re-route vent lines for carb (Ask AKMud)

Now get that Piggy on the road and come ride with Mud and I
