Looking great Lukas - I really like that orange-front black-back combo - sharp! See you in a few weeks - this is going to be fun! Jx
Please to say that the race is doing pretty OK with participants. Stages are really awesome, to our taste at least. Entries will close at 15th of April, so people with second thoughts please let us know within the next days. Nice to see awesome bikes getting ready. Be ready for some really spectacular parts. See you soon, some snow will be there to cool you down in 1800m and up https://www.facebook.com/HellasRall...38353191963.1073741842.100002074133265&type=1
Anyone looking for a last minute flight from the UK (Heathrow) to Athens in time for the Hellas rally 6-11th May, contact Torque Racing rider George Dennison who has a ticket he needs to move on... https://www.facebook.com/georgedennison777?fref=nf Anyone fancy taking up the Media Monkey mantle this time? - I'm going to be kinda busy myself ;o) Jx
I'd love to follow the rally and update everyone here, but it is the same dates as the IFAT exhibition (5th - 9th ) and will have to be there. I will be there during the weekend and see if I can stay Mon-Tue. I will try and delay the arrival in the exhibition (don't ask... ) so that I support both you in case you need any help with the Mk1, and inmate offroadie1 who will also be present in the rally. Will have cameras and all the necessary data logging equipment so that would be fun
Cool beans! - I am planning on getting the Friday ferry, arriving Saturday just after lunch - so see you there! I've also had a good buzz on the LC4-50 this afternoon, and can confirm the fueling is now totally dialed in and bike feels awesome - really strong and torquey - loverly! I'd better start packing... Jx
Very much looking forward to this, was a good event last year so should be even better with the promised tougher terrain this year. This year I am taking my Wife and 6 year old twin boys we are going to Athens for 2 days then on to the start of the rally, they have lots of trips planned whilst I am out on the bike. I am training my terrible 2 to let tyres down, pull plug caps off and turn off petrol taps got to gain an advantage some how On a very different note such a shame Brodovich, Angelo Pandelidis will not be with us Last year he took me (a total stranger) in fed me gave me a crash course in navigation then arranged for me to get to the start of the rally. Will miss not seeing him sitting at the front of one of the cafe,s on his lap top on the walk back to the hotel and him not there to give Meletis a hard time at the breifings, but most he will not be there to point me in the right direction when I am lost again If you see me lost and looking up to the sky I am looking for a sign from Angelo, maybe "this way you daft sod!"
Well said Lee. Will be raising a glass to him. For anyone flying in Sunday (4th), we have two spaces for passenger transport from Athens airport to Nafpaktos (leaving the airport around 1300), then the same on the way back on Monday 12th, to arrive at the airport around 1800. Will not have room for big gear bags, only small personal bags. Can work something out cost wise.
Expect some early awakenings for Day 2 and Day 5. Raincoats and warm clothing, cu guys. have fun on the way here
Am I missing something? We British don't go to Greece in May for rain; we're coming for 2000k's of hot, sunny and dusty rally riding (with maybe some snow!) Graham
Starting..... <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/QrQDCYxmqpI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I've been practicing already - torrential rain crossing northern Italy today... Could do with some sunshine you know! See you soon! Jenny xx

I was there yesterday, crap I can't stay for the whole week, damn exhibitions the weather was realy, really weird. Sunny, then next minute rain, then cold, then sunny then cloudy then sunny again, then too hot. All that in a matter of 10 minutes. A guy from Norway told me that the weather was beautiful I met with Jenny and John from Rally Raid, met Donna, then Patsy from DRR, some inmates. Nice to put faces into the nicknames, but I do apologise if I still forget you people. Too much information for my brain . More than 2000 kilometers, race should be very interesting.... Here comes the motherload from the bivvy, Now this CRF is a very interesting bike. Factory engine, it even does not have an engine number on it :huh, 22liters of fuel. and very nice custom detailed things... (which we will see later in the photos) An interesting roadbook switch setup (above the normal switch)
That is the factory engined CRF we were talking about.... https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-...pTuFM/w1147-h762-no/IMGP0443+%28Medium%29.JPG Now for some other bikes... Nice, large tanks :eek1 This is a new, suspension handlebar setup, so far tested for ATV's. Bike versions weill follow, I was impressed with the adjustability/setup... Alhtough I was part of the CAD/manufacturing team it was the first time I was testing it on the ATV It uses a shock absorber from a bicycle. Fully adjustable, lockable, high/slow speed rebound setting and air compression setting to adjust compression it was also nice to see the HDB towers making their way across the Globe and seeing the inmates who were in Tuareg as well. All the best guys! :huh Silicon addition inside the roadbook https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-...CUtpc/w1147-h762-no/IMGP0446+%28Medium%29.JPG New kid on the block And we were there as well... And a friend of mine says to the owner: ''You know that the hunting period is on eh? '' That was Angelo, Brodovitch's company... Very, very sad that he left this world... That's all for now folks ...
Thank you very much for the many, nice and detailed pictures! The guy with the Trippy, is he going to read the paper roadbook and try to create a Trippy route everynight?
