Any of you guys that have these on you back can you please measure the total width?

I need to know how it compares to the the Touratech 31/38 Zega Pro option since I'm considering bumping up the size to 38/45 for trips two up.

And yes I searched an no results came up.

I could only fit my size medium Shoei Hornet inside the BMW topcase, I'm also adding a new R1200GS down the road so I want to be able to use the cases themselves on both bikes. the BMW side cases look the same but mount differently so they are not cross compatible between both bikes besides the new R1200GS has the exhaust on the opposite side now so it will most likely be a completely new setup.

you can also fit a helmet in the right case, the one that is 44l.

But sure thing if you get the new 12GS than you should take the Zegas. If you get an old one than you can order the Holan kit for the 800GS so that you can use the 12GSA aluminium boxes on the 800GS - so no more problems with the old 1200GS and fitting the cases.
