    There are so many wonderful pictures here that I'm a little embarrassed to post one, but if any, this one might qualify.

    This was taken after I hit a deep dust bowl on a back road in Northern Mexico this March. It was like driving into water and the biff was in slow motion. No prob. Didn't see any drug lords either. Just a great ride, but a little "ambitious" for a fully loaded KLR650. One day after 8 hours and something like 10 river crossings, we made a whopping 24 miles. The KLR's a good bike for this trip if you stay on the roads... or at least close to them.
