Ethiopia - Suggestions?

I'm heading to Ethiopia December 19 for a month of riding with two buddies. We're doing it on the cheap, we're renting Chinese copies of Honda XRs and we're going to carry plenty of spares with us.

Any suggestions for things not to miss?

I've scoured Horizons Unlimited and got the Lonely Planet book. Any other books out there?
