Ha! In NSW you can easily lose your licence on a 22 year old two stroke 500

It's not the refuling, it's the trying to catch up to those damn Uylsses members They must all have get out of gaol free cards or something. Lucky the cop didn't get me a bit earlier when I was doing 160+, the powervalves were just opened at 6k rpm and she was purrrrring along

..thats what I meant, didn't have to refuel so often, wouldnt have to speed to catch up. I was on that ride, and being an old bloke, we dont speed. Probably fall off if we went over 100kph.

Actually, I'm pretty sure I was following you right up until Wollomumbi. I doubt I actually needed to fill up, but the prospect of a 40km push made me err on the side of caution. That ride was the maiden "ride" for that bike, I'd ridden around town a bit on it and once switched onto reserve to find the tank was bone dry (I think I probably hooked something up wrong as it doesn't have a normal fuel tap setup, but it was still enough to make me very nervous about fuel range, it's a heavy bike and pushing it sucks ).

Heh every time i get on the damn thing i'm going quick, i just can't help myself! I'm quite happy to ride to work on the GS at 120 but put me on this puppy and it's at least 160, hell the bike ain't even working at that speed It'll be sad to see it go but i can use the dough.

Yeah Speedster, buy an old z1, z900 with a missing / stuffed engine on the cheap, then put bills engine in it.

That'd be an adrenaline rush speeding up and (trying ) to slowdown or turn.
