A pic is worth 1000 words ...

Just rolled in, so until I (or anyone else) am/is back around & can compose a proper narration, here's several thousand words worth of photos...

FYI, this was extracurricular activity after the course and exercises were over. Graham was one of the last three students standing when neduro and crew finally broke for camp, so hats off to him!!!

TwoWheelsGood practicing slow downhill control using the front brake...

Zen Slug
decides he's got the slow exercise down pat and goes for the launch sequence!

Don't judge the performance of KTM's vs. DRZ's soley on the basis of this next photo only...

I took a quick spin on Zen Slug's Orange and it was a blast!! His bike definitely outperforms the DRZ hands down, but then again if I had to pick which one to ride 100 miles home... that's where the utility of the DRZ wins out...

As neduro narrates, surfphoto plays the lead role in, "I Fall Down on a Slope"

Good demo, terrible acting. Here surfphoto reaches for the Oscar, trying to look upset at his 'mishap'

I missed watching you do the magic levitating trick to get a bike unstuck from the sand at neduro's clinic in May in Buena Vista. Some friends are thinking of riding Baja next year, and if I am crazy enough to go, I need to know the trick.

What do you do to get the bike out? How do you rock the bike to make it go upwards, instead of just digging a bigger hole? What throttle control is needed?

Please help, O Wise Ones. I hate sand.

The magic trick is clutch control, and rocking the bike front to back to widen the hole you are stuck in. The rest is practice.

Come on up and ride- we'll go back to the sand washes at 4mile and practice!

Nice!

Thought I'd have to wait til tomorrow morning at work to hear about the weekend from ZenSlug.

I was hoping to get there, but not this time.

Looks like it was a blast.
