I own one. Very nice, very sturdy, heavy duty, good quality. I recently purchased an air lift and am selling this particular lift you are looking at.

PM me if intrested.

Why did you get an air lift? Is the bikelift inadequate?

Wow, for the $ go with a traditional table lift. The space savings is potentially there but the table lift acts as a work table too. If space is tight it can be parked on as well. I'd also have to see it in action to trust it fully. With a little waiting and searching I've been able to find used handylifts for $500 give or take..........

How can it be fun if there's not at least an outside chance of dying?

Looks like WAY TOO MUCH money for what you get. If you search around e-bay, there is a guy who has some affiliation to Kendon and he is selling Kendon bike lifts, the fold up kind, for $ 450 delivered anywhere in the US. These are the 600 LB capacity lifts and are really nice. A friend of mine got his last week. As for me, I happened along a year old Handy lift on the local Craigslist for $ 600 and that included him delivering it to my home. I too thought that it would take up a lot of space in the garage but it just a work bench when the bike isn't on it. There are a bunch of Handy kift knockoffs out there for around $ 500 - $ 600 price range. But for $ 450 delivered, I don't know how you can beat the Kendon deal. I was actually shocked when I saw how little space it took up when folded and stood up. Only drawback I saw was that it took about 50 pumps to get it to the full working height.
