950 Adventure Fuel Tap help!!!!
Hi Guys,
I'm having a bit of a panic... Just successfully performed an oil change in preparation for my departure to Europe on Friday, but as I was re-opening the fuel taps, the one on the left hand tank basically disintegrated pissing fuel everywhere. Managed to drain the tank and have a look at the tap. It's pretty bad, but have managed to jam it into a position where it is 'open' and not leaking, but if you poke it hard, or try to turn it, it comes to bits again. Now, I'm starting to sweat a bit, because I'm not sure I'll be able to get replacements in time... Does anyone know if they are standard KTM dealer stock items, or will they need to be ordered in? Does anyone have a spare (in the UK) that they would be willing to sell to me (I'll happily pay over the odds and pay for postage)? Heeeeeelllllppppp!!! Storm

They are the same taps used on the gobi panniers when used to hold water - if that is any help.
Maybe someone can lend you one. |

Try Bracken in London (020 72321814). I ordered one a while back and never collected it as mine fixed itself (WTF)
and stayed together. It might still be on their shelf gathering dust. It was only a fiver. Try fiddling with it as I said mine screwed back together and has stayed put.
