I have been looking at the two GPS units in question. Unfortunately I cannot seem to find any information that compares the two. I would appreciate any insights that you would care to share about them and particularily the Navigator III. Thanks

The differences between the SP2820 and the Zumo are not very large.
Zumo has a more fixed user interface and is easier to learn and easier to handle for the beginner. It has a better, more sensitive, GPS receiver and a built-in battery. The SP2820 (= BMW Nav III) is more flexible and with its higher resolution screen it shows much more map details. A negative detail is that it has no built-in battery. More important is the difference in price. Since the SP2820 is a discontinued product you can buy it for less than half the price of a Zumo! The BMW version of Zumo should be avoided. Less functionality for more money!
