Sporting Motorcycle Club meets Thursdays at PoBoys

The FatArse Motorcycle Club meets on Thursdays from 6 to 8 pm at the PoBoys Restaurant at 1425 Village Square Blvd in Tallahassee. Our members focus on sport motorcycling including road racing, track riding, adventure touring, trail riding, and motards. Although this is an on-road performance-focused motorcycle club, we value responsible riding.

If you’re looking for a good ‘mature’ group to share your interest in sporting motorcycles with, we welcome your participation. We meet weekly to shoot the sh*t and talk all things motorcycle. You can find new riding partners or just enjoy the sport through the eyes of others. You can just show up or reply to this message for more information.

My fuel petcock started leaking, and nobody had one. The fellas over at Precision Motorsports got me a rebuild kit coming though. No 650 action this weekend though

The rest of you FFs, I'm ready to do some serious tar!

It's an '04 BMW R1100s ABS bought from an inmate Yesterday. Think HTSR has some spare TKCs that'll fit?

Calling All Tar Trompers

My out of town trip just got cancelled soooooo......

I hereby proclaim that we're to meet at Hooters or somewhere like it this afternoon after work and check out Buzz's new Beemer and go for a street ride.

Who's up for it? I'll bring my VStrom and maybe Scott can bring his Beemer (The Big Pig) if he's recovered enough from The Scrub.

Anyone else up for this?

Buzz? You ready?

Hey Buzztail just repaired a leaking front valve stem on a fellow Floridian from west palm beach passing through returning from Vintage Days at Barber riding one of those Bm's. Sweet ride. Oh by the way don't forget to check those valve stems by pushing or pulling on them sideways to make sure that yours are not about to go. Hate to see you scratch that beauty!

Ride in-Camp out

I'll do what I can but plan on your own food and drinks

Dec. 5,6,7 or a few days before and a few days after.

Eventually, I'll post a map. When and after, the site has really been decided on ...in the mean time play with the tracks and look at the area. Figure out where you want to ride. after all, it's all about you.
i missed the secret smokesignal-- is this plan current for Dec 08? The edit of a post from January has obfuscated me, and we all know how painful that can be.

If this thing's on, then a few Hooligans will def be in. Great location, kinda halfway for the Hooli's and the Fleas.

Is there any permit action we need to move on?

Dang.... George, Harold and I just came from there. We ended up going all the way to Apalachicola to eat and back.

What time are you planning on leaving. It's gonna be a bit cold...

Geo and Bob, I enjoyed the ride. That stretch of SR65 is just too tempting, it's one of the few places you can do the ton for miles on end so I set the cruise on 105 and let 'er rip -- couple o' time up to 125+. Makes ya think a lot about the front tire.

I am just this moment getting in from my evening obligation, and froze my ass off in semi-business clothes for the evening ride from down town to Chemonie Crossing.

I'd go pee if I could find my equipment.

Thanks for letting me join y'all.

Harold,

Thanks for joining us. We had a great time. When you went by me on that Beemer I thought my motor had quit and I nearly got off to see what was wrong.

I don't know what that Beemer has in it but are you sure it doesn't burn jet fuel?

I thought my V was pretty fast...

Your motor was just humming with no muss or fuss. What model is it again?

George and I kept expecting to see you up the road waiting on us and when we finally gave up we decided you were a big boy and could take care of yourself.

Sounds like you did your pennance for deserting us when you rode that final ride home from downtown...
