Scorpion EXO-1000
So who's bought one of these so far?
I haven't seen any reports about it yet. |

I didn't like my 700?? Just did not fit right and IIRC seemed heavy.

I have one. I bought a large as that is what I wear in the EXO-400 and thought it was going to be too small but after 3 or 4 rides it has broken in nicely. I love the flip down shield although I wish it was darker. The helmet feels heavier than my 400 and it seems noisier too. Still too early to tell if I'm going to love the helmet or not.

Does the internal visor cover the eyes really well or does it leave a huge gap?

I have EXO-400. Best helmet for the money. It never fogs, its cool in summer and cold in winter... ;)

My EXO1000 arrived today. I've been wearing a 700 for the last two years or so, and thought I'd move up to the new one.
I'll let you know how it goes!

I just replaced my four year old EXO1000 with a Shoei Qwest.
The EXO1000 was my first helmet - it fit, but thats about all I can say about it. Loud as hell, poor ventilation, crushes my giant ears, and after four years, the foam was loose in the shell, which is why it got replaced. The Qwest has been fantastic, comfortable, ear space, quiet and great vents. Feels lighter, too. |
